A very warm welcome to you from the Seventh Wave Gallery
After 7 hectic years, the time had come to expand and move to larger premises.
Lynne and Martyn had also bought the gallery that supplied their printing, enabling them to have control over all aspects of their business.
Martyn was inundated with framing, from artists, photographers, and the public, as well as the growing workload to keep stock levels constantly replenished.
In May, 2014, their lovely new gallery was ready.
Much more spacious and airy, and just opposite the old gallery, the business has carried on growing and their ethos has remained - committment to showcasing art of all kinds by Cornish artists (although as our tag line says - some of our art is from Devon!).
Lynne and Martyn Holehouse sold a large and successful art business in Bristol and took the plunge, opening a gallery in the beautiful North Cornwall seaside town of Bude.
They had bought a holiday rental there a few years before and were finding it harder and harder to leave!
From the start they had a vibrant and busy gallery - with Lynne painting and Martyn providing picture framing for customers and the gallery's own art.
The gallery grew and thrived as their reputation spread and they began showcasing the work of more and more local artists, whether fine art or wood, glass, ceramics etc. and photographers.
The couple are passionate about their adopted town and work hard to support Bude and its inhabitants.
