Artist Lynne and picture framer husband Martyn Holehouse launched the Seventh Wave Gallery in Bude, North Cornwall in 2006 and haven't looked back since. Their ethos has always been to showcase some of the best local art around. They pride themselves on working with talented and renowned artists, photographers, sculptors, potters and jewellers. Seventh Wave Gallery never imports work from abroad - with the abundance of talent from artists in Cornwall and Devon - there is no need to sell work from anywhere else! You won't find this work in every high street chain - most of the art and craft is unique to Seventh Wave.
Martyn prides himself on his superb busy in-house framing service and will frame anything from a rugby shirt to a golf club! He regularly frames such diverse objects as medals, photographs, paintings and even the fairing from a Moto G. P. racing bike!
Seventh Wave Gallery offers beneficial rates for bulk purchases of framing, mounting, canvas stretching etc. and is popular with artists, photographers, art groups, and professionals. Lynne is a professional artists, having worked on television, taught and run painting holidays, and demonstrated for top art supplies company Winsor and Newton for many years.
Her prints and original work is in public and private collections worldwide. As well as exhibiting at such renowned venues as the world famous Mall Galleries in London, and the RWA, Lynne is also proud to have had work hung at the prestigious Burton Gallery in Bideford, Devon. She continues to paint avidly and is particularly proud of her close connection with ArtBridge - a small group of eminent Thai artists. They have exhibited together in the U. K. and Bangkok.
With the acquisition of Extreme Board Shots in Woolacombe, Seventh Wave now offers a first rate large format printing service using their state of the art printer and highest quality light fast inks, canvasses and papers.
Martyn is Branch Master of the highly repsected Fine Art Trade Guild and Lynne is on the Board of Artists and is also a Court member - giving you the confidence that they are experts in their field. They pride themselves on offering a friendly, personal and knowledgeable service - Seventh Wave even has an art corner for the children leaving you free to browse!
